We had a great turn out for our first Yoga in the Park class at Greentree Village in Burnaby.  What a beautiful night we had weather wise as well.  I look forward to seeing even more people this upcoming class.  Join us Tuesday nights 6:30pm - 7:30pm in the park on the south side of 4295 Garden Grove Drive.  Bring a Yoga mat and some water and drop in for $12!

As usual in summer, we offer only a few classes and then rev up again in September.  Please visit our website at www.intoyoga.ca to see what's available.

 

While Yoga may not be the best way to get a six pack, it can certainly strengthen those abs.   A strong core can help improve posture and relieve backache.  We found a routine that can help you do this.

Avocado Dressing with Dill  (serves 4)
Original Recipe


Ingredients:
1/2 large ripe Hass avocado, chopped

1/2 cup chopped peeled and seeded cucumber

1 Tbs. minced fresh dill

1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice

1 tsp. pure maple syrup

Preparation
:

Place all ingredients in mini food processor or chopper. Add 1/4 cup water, and blend until very smooth. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.

Calories: 40; Carbohydrate Content: 4 g; Fat Content: 3 g; Fiber Content: 2 g; Protein Content: 0.5 g; Saturated Fat Content: 0.5 g; Sodium Content: 2 mg; Sugar Content: 2 g
